First Option Pictures is an Australian entertainment production company which brings together a powerful network of stakeholder relationships including: State and Government agencies; creative talent and agency representatives; international film finance and international sales representatives globally.
The company is developing a slate of projects that are story driven which will appeal to an international audience in all multi-platform streams such as film, television, internet, social media and podcasts. The team at FOP is led by multi-disciplined executive and producer Mark Morrissey.

Paul Currie’s extensive entertainment industry experience includes producing and directing numerous feature films and TV series. Early in his career Paul won the Screen Director’s Association Award of Australia for directing and producing the film, One Perfect Day. More recently, he directed the ABC TV series Twenty-Something, two acclaimed documentaries, Lionheart: The Jesse Martin Story and Every Heart Beats True: The Jim Stynes Story, the feature film 2:22, and live action sequences in the feature film Lego: Ninjago. Paul served as producer on Mel Gibson’s Academy Award winning film, Hacksaw Ridge, as well as on feature films 2:22, David Attenborough’s Great Barrier Reef, The Longest Shot and Under the Gun. He executive produced Rampart starring Woody Harrelson and Max Rose starring Jerry Lewis. Mr Currie’s vast international film production work includes production servicing on The Moon and the Sun starring Pierce Brosnan and Bleeding Steel starring Jackie Chan.
Domenic is founder and chairman of the boutique investment company Marksx www.marksx.com. and director of Cosmos Pictures www.cosmospictures.com.au. Domenic utilizes a philosophy and culture of developing creative and financially secure long term partnerships with people, government and companies in property and media. Domenic has been involved as Executive Producer in international motion pictures, Better Man, Blacklight, Hacksaw Ridge, The Longest Shot, 2:22, Rampart, One Perfect Day and The Fourth Magi. As a finance lawyer of over 35 years’ experience Domenic has amassed over $600M AUD of property projects for Marksx with the highlight of developing, with the assistance of the Victorian Government, Newcold’s Asia Pacific headquarters in Victoria with an end value of $275M AUD.
Celebrating his 40th year in the entertainment business, Mark Morrissey is the founder and Managing Director of Morrissey Management, one of Australia’s most successful and leading talent management companies. MORRISSEY MANAGEMENT has nurtured some of the biggest names in Hollywood to fame including Chris Hemsworth, Liam Hemsworth, Shalom Brune-Franklin, Jai Courtney, Harry Richardson, Joel Jackson, Rebecca Breeds, Luke Bracey, and Yerin Ha. Mark also Executive Produced Australian film and television projects including: “Molly” for Channel 7, (6.5 million viewers cumulative, Winner Logie Award Best Drama), “The Last Time I Saw Richard” (WINNER AACTA Award for Best Short Film), “Boys in The Trees” Feature, “Sarah’s Channel” Web series for ABC (40 million viewers YouTube). In 2019, Mark Executive Produced on the Stan Originals International Web series SARAHS CHANNEL (ABC).
